Mundelein’s Breviary

Museums display items not only of beauty, but also items of history and use.  This breviary was owned and used by Cardinal Mundelein.  A gift from the Sisters of St. Joseph in Wisconsin, its tattered cover and well-thumbed pages are a beautiful testimony to a life devoted to God. You can see this breviary, along with other items used daily by the Cardinal, on the Cardinal’s desk in the museum.
