Donor Recognition Societies
The Saint Mary of the Lake Legacy Society is the giving society for donors to the University of Saint Mary of the Lake (USML) recognizing generous donors to Mundelein Seminary, the Pontifical Faculty of Theology and the School of Parish Leadership and Evangelization, making gifts through their estate plans or another form of a planned gift such as a charitable gift annuity, insurance policy or individual retirement account. The Legacy Society receives perpetual remembrance in daily Masses and prayers and its members will:
- Receive permanent recognition in the USML annual report and Donor Recognition Wall
- Be invited to an annual Legacy Society Mass and Lunch hosted by the Rector/President
1844 Society – Those donating cumulatively at the $1,000,000+ level enjoy perpetual membership in this Society and perpetual remembrance in daily Masses and prayers.
The Mater Dei Society is the annual giving society for USML. Established in 2020, the Society celebrates those who believe in the mission of Mundelein Seminary, the Pontifical Faculty of Theology and the School of Parish Leadership and Evangelization, and want to support the programs, capital, and operational needs of the university. We are most grateful for our Mater Dei Society members who enable us to fulfill our mission.
Sustainers are those who give consecutively for at least five years annually. Sustainers are noted on a special “digital honor roll” and they are invited to attend our annual gratitude event, and Advent and Lent Retreats.
