Cardinal Meyer Lecture 2024
John Allen served as our guest speaker at this year’s two-part lecture on Thursday, March 7 at the Union League Club of Chicago and on Friday, March 8 at USML. Following the Friday presentation, Mr. Allen participated in a panel discussion with distinguished USML faculty members Rev. Emery A. de Gaál, Chairperson and Professor in the Departments of Dogmatic Theology and Pre-Theology and Theodore Whapham, Ph.D., Dean of the School of Parish Leadership and Evangelization.
Title of Lecture: Protocol, Politics and Posterity: The Legacy of Pope Benedict XVI and the Future of the Church.
