USML’s Annual Christmas Concert

On Sunday, December 3rd, the halls of the Mundelein Seminary at the University of Saint Mary of the Lake echoed with the enchanting melodies of Christmas and Advent during a soul-stirring concert that left hearts aglow in the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception.

Under the expert guidance of the University’s Music Director, the incredibly talented Linda Cerabona, our seminarians transformed the serene setting into a haven of celestial sounds. The concert was a celebration of the season, weaving together beautiful songs, readings, and heartfelt reflections that resonated with the true spirit of Christmas.

Linda Cerabona’s exceptional musical direction brought out the best in the seminarians, who took on the roles of singers and musicians with grace and skill. Their performances were not merely musical renditions but heartfelt expressions of faith and joy.

Amidst the musical enchantment, the readings and reflections wove a narrative that illuminated the meaning of Christmas and Advent. Through scripture and poetry, the audience experienced the profound significance of the season, fostering a sense of community and spiritual connection.

The Christmas concert was not just a musical performance; it was a spiritual journey that touched the soul and kindled the light of hope and joy. Congratulations to our Music Director, Linda Cerabona, and our seminarians, for a beautiful performance and expression of faith!
