Please join us at the School of Parish Leadership and Evangelization at the Prist Center (Building 201). We will be combining our lasting thanks for Msgr. Prist’s contributions to ministry formation, with a celebration of our alumni’s ministries as well. We are many, but one body. There is a rich diversity of ministries in the life of the Church today, and we here at the School wish to honor those vocations. We look forward to hearing Msgr. Prist’s wisdom and hearing your stories.

Monsignor Wayne Prist was ordained a priest in 1967. He was one of the first graduates of USML’s Doctor of Ministry program. Msgr. Prist was appointed by Cardinal Bernardin as Director of the Center for Pastoral Ministry in 1983, which moved to USML’s campus in 1986. He guided the Center for Pastoral Ministry and the Center for Development in Ministry for over ten years. He has been a tireless advocate of the importance of ministry formation, not just for priests, but for all ministers in the life of the Church. It is no wonder, then, that the SPLE’s building is named in his honor.

Additionally, the School will announce new initiatives aimed at strengthening a broader range of ministries within the Church. As a special note to our alumni, we would like to express our gratitude for all that you do. If you benefited from your time with our programs, please be sure to share with others how your experience at USML helped you grow. May God bring to perfection the good work begun in you.

This will be a family-friendly event, featuring cake and light refreshments. Space is limited, so please register by June 13. Click here to register.

If you are unable to attend but would like to support our formation, please remember us in your prayers. Additionally, there are opportunities to assist with all aspects of the programs:
