We are looking forward to welcoming you to the ordination celebrations this year in the Archdiocese of Chicago. Please refer to the information below that corresponds to the ordination Mass to which you have been invited. Please note that admission to all ordinations is by ticket only.
Ordination of Deacons | Holy Name Cathedral, 735 N. State St., Chicago | May 13, 2023 | 10:00am
You are welcome to park in the garage across from Holy Name Cathedral, with entrance at 14 W. Superior Street, while space remains. Please go down the ramp, take a ticket from the machine and park on levels 1 or 2 in any space that is not marked “reserved.” Given that ordinations are a longer liturgy, the Cathedral will “lift” the exit gate, so there is no need to validate your ticket. You will be able to exit the garage through the open gate at no charge. Please note that if you plan to stay downtown past 7pm and do not leave the parking garage, you will be fined $100 by the garage.
The Archdiocese of Chicago and Holy Name Cathedral invite those to also use parking apps for nearby garages as well. There are many parking garages around the Cathedral that are user-friendly to SpotHero and give a large block of reservation time.
