Virtual May Crowning Reflection | May 2, 2021

by on May 5, 2021

Listen to our rector Father John Kartje’s homily from our Virtual May Crowning on Sunday, May 2. In this month of May, Father John invites us to take some time to think about Mary’s freedom and the choice that was made in that sacred space after her encounter with the angel of the Lord at the Annunciation. In the sacredness of that time, she was able to embrace God’s will in the midst of uncertainty, and she was able to grow in love and trust. May we too accept the freedom that exists in each and every sacred moment of our lives and know that God is always close to us.

We are $12,000 away from meeting our matching goal of $35,000 from a generous anonymous donor. Make a gift to support Mundelein Seminary: usml.edu/maycrowning
