Assistant Professor of Dogmatic Theology at the University of St. Mary of the Lake in Mundelein, IL. He teaches and researches in the areas of patristics and systematic theology, with a focus on the role of Scriptural interpretation in theology. He is the author of the study Cross and Creation: A Theological Introduction to Origen of Alexandria (CUA Press, 2022), as well as individual essays on the fathers and their theology. His on-going research concerns the reception of Origen’s thought in subsequent thinkers, and the place of the fathers in contemporary theology.
