On Saturday, September 14, Mundelein seminary hosted the family members of our seminarians for a special Mass, lunch and day of activities. This year we were blessed to have over 500 people on campus as we gathered to give thanks for the gift of our faith and for the gift of our families.
Activities included hayrides around campus, tours led by seminarians, a delicious barbecue lunch, community Mass, a seminarian talent show, mock classroom lectures by faculty member Father David Olson and rector Father John Kartje, an art show and a seminarian baseball game. We are grateful for the support of so many friends and family members of our seminarians as these men continue to discern God’s calling for their lives.
