Vocation Story

Growing up I was very involved in my parish, doing ministries and going to youth group and mission trips. When I went to college I got involved at the Newman Center and began leading prayer groups and Bible studies and praying with a good group of students. I started to listen to God in prayer and eventually he led me to the seminary! Since coming to seminary I’ve continued to listen to God’s call through prayer and discernment. I have had a great and formative final year as a deacon at Mundelein and now I believe God is calling me to serve Him and His Church as a priest.

Priest Aspirations

I’m looking forward to becoming part of a parish for a longer time than a few months!  Getting to know the people, and helping them through the gifts of the priesthood to grow in their relationship with Jesus, and help share that with others.

How can Mundelein's donors and community pray for you?

I would ask for prayers that I would be given the gifts of fortitude and courage!
