I enjoy theatre, cinematography, IU Basketball, and the White Sox.
I'm currently writing a murder mystery musical with some friends back at home.
St. John Paul II
I can’t remember a time in my life when I didn’t feel at least a slight attraction to the priesthood. When I was a child attending St. Thomas More elementary and middle school, I remember being attracted to the external beauty of the priesthood: the colorful vestments, singing and the decked-out church. As I grew in age and understanding of the Faith, I began serving mass at St. Thomas More, and grew more attracted to the sacramental life of the priest; and when people around me started to say that I would make a good priest, I felt a call burning inside of me.
This call crescendoed up to a retreat I attended my junior year of college at Indiana University, where for the first time I expressed my desire to discern the priesthood out loud. From there, dominos began to fall into place. I joined a discernment group through the campus ministry, where I read “To Save a Thousand Souls,” which really made it clear to me that I had to enter seminary to seriously discern if God was calling me to be a priest. And now, my journey towards unveiling that call continues.

Pray that my heart and the hearts of all my brother seminarians may be totally open to God’s Will.
