Vocation Story

I was married for 30+ years, and have 3 adult children. I’ve also been a deacon for 15+ years. My wife died from breast cancer in 2016, and I responded to the call I experienced to become a priest. This is something my wife, Sara, and I talked about. It has been a joy to serve God and the People of God, and I am looking forward to continuing putting my life in God’s hands.

Priest Aspirations

Sharing the love of God with others and walking with them on their faith journeys.

What has been your favorite/most memorable story of your time at Mundelein thus far?

It has been affirming and life-giving to experience the passion that these men have for being disciples and servants of Jesus Christ, and that the faculty and staff bring to the mission of forming parish priests! It is a joy and an honor (and a surprise!) to be here! Thanks be to God!

How can Mundelein's donors and community pray for you?

To continue to pray for me and all seminarians, that we would be faithful priests after Jesus Christ!
