I like sports, camping, playing guitar, hanging out with friends.
I'm currently brewing kombucha in my room here at Mundelein.
My confirmation saint is Augustine, and I really like John Paul II and Therese of Lisieux as well.
My vocation began at home. My parents passed on the faith to me and I was convinced that it was the most important aspect of my life. After high school, I wanted to give my life totally to God and so decided to follow the call I had been feeling for some time to enter the seminary. I felt a lot of peace and joy in this decision. In my time as a seminarian there have been moments of trial and many graces, and through these the Lord has continued to reaffirm my call to the priesthood. I can’t wait to conformed to Jesus in a new way in only a few months.
I look forward to being a teacher and healer as a priest – primarily through preaching and through celebrating the sacraments.
