Vocation Story

I was a cradle Catholic growing up and attended catholic school since grade school. So, it was natural for me to go to seminary in college as I have wanted to become a priest since I was a kid. But, I discerned out after almost three years as I felt I was not yet ready. I took a job in a bank in the Philippines, but the call of the Lord did not stop. My office was just beside the cathedral, and during lunch times, I attended mass. 2021 was the year that I left my job and decided to return to seminary. I told myself this time that I was ready. I said to God, ” It’s up to You. I am ready. You lead the way.” Now I am in Mundelein.
