Favorite Devotion

This is certainly not a unique devotion, but I'm very thankful to have grown in devotion with our Blessed Mother since coming to Mundelein Seminary. As St. Maximilian Kolbe said, “Never be afraid of loving the Blessed Virgin too much. You can never love her more than Jesus did.”

What has been your favorite/most memorable story of your time at Mundelein thus far?

I often look back on our Christmas party from my first year at Mundelein Seminary. I just remember eating at table with some great brothers and enjoying the incredible talent we have here. In particular, I loved our version of Saturday Night Live’s “Celebrity Jeopardy” when different guys impersonated notable professors and faculty. It may sound funny, but I remember walking out of the building and just having a strong sense of “I belong here.” Seminary can be hard sometimes so it is really important to appreciate and lean on the community we do have at Mundelein Seminary.
