Vocation Story

I felt interested in the priesthood at a young age, but I had many different interests and so I did not seriously consider it. When I was 14 I had an encounter with God’s love and mercy through confession, and I desired to give myself totally to God through celibacy and to care for souls through spiritual fatherhood. After staying open to other options throughout high school my sense of a priestly vocation deepened and I entered seminary at 19. I was sent to study philosophy at the University of Dallas through Holy Trinity Seminary, and in late 2019 I was chosen to continue my priestly formation here at Mundelein.

Priest Aspirations

Being a spiritual father and dedicating my every day to saving souls.

How can Mundelein's donors and community pray for you?

I always welcome prayers that I will become a holy and virtuous priest.
