Vocation Story

I discerned a vocation to priesthood in college. I was involved in campus ministry and I wanted to continue to minister to others and I felt God calling me to grow deeper in my spiritual life. I saw my gifts and talents as being suited for priesthood – a strong musical background and a love for liturgy. Although I wasn’t completely certain that I was destined to be a priest, I entered the seminary after college. My vocation to the priesthood became more and more clear as I discerned in seminary.

Priest Aspirations

Celebrating the sacraments and living full-time in a parish setting.

What has been your favorite/most memorable story of your time at Mundelein thus far?

Welcome weekend and the Big Tent Party. The seminarians were placed into groups and competed in games all afternoon. It was a great day of fraternity and a good way to begin the school year.

How can Mundelein's donors and community pray for you?

Please pray that I continue my preparation for priesthood with a pure heart and grow in my relationship with Jesus Christ, that I may serve the people of God as a good and holy priest.
