Vocation Story | I am the son of Dale Sr. and Josephine Lingaur, and I was born and raised in Lake Leelanau. I am a third generation graduate from St. Mary Catholic School and enjoyed close friendships with his nearly 100 cousins while growing up. Upon graduating from high school, I earned a degree in Management and Information Systems from Northwood University, where I played football and baseball, and served as a student assistant coach for the football team. After college, I was employed by a small food and automotive manufacturing supplier in Livonia, MI, prior to moving back home to the Traverse City area and working as a Computer and Data Analyst. I began seriously considering the priesthood not long after the death of two of his grandparents. I recall being moved by the feeling of peace each time I witnessed my grandparents receive their final Eucharist. It was then that I began seriously discerning the priesthood. |
Priest Aspirations | Being able to celebrate the Mass. |
How can Mundelein's donors and community pray for you? | Please pray that, God willing, my seminarian brothers and I persevere in our pursuit of the priesthood. |
