Vocation Story

I remember that when I was young I would play priest with my siblings. As I got older, this desire stayed with me, though I continued to push the thought of it further and further away. Before my freshman year in high school, I was in adoration and the thought came to me, “Michael, I want you to be a priest.” My years in high school were spent running from this call. It was not until after spending one year at Benedictine College studying Biochemistry that I finally was graced with the courage to enter seminary. God placed many wonderful friends on my path, from family members, to priests, to friends in high school and at Benedictine. And while in seminary He has continued to place these people in my life that continue to help me draw closer and closer to Him.

Priest Aspirations

I look forward to spending myself in service of others.
