Vocation Story

I asked God what He wanted, and He surprised me by saying “priesthood.” That initial discernment and continuing discernment has ultimately been an invitation to His love. Letting go of whatever conditional control I had on how He loves me has been uncomfortable but freeing. Cross and Resurrection.

Priest Aspirations

Confessions. My own experience is that there is deep profundity in the darkness of human dysfunction and even beauty when we are comfortable enough to look around and see Jesus sitting there with us in our brokenness.

What has been your favorite/most memorable story of your time at Mundelein thus far?

Favorite: How tough an invitation to love is, yet how redeeming and fulfilling that same call is.
Most memorable: Lots of different experiences of great fraternity amongst the brothers, here.
Surprising: How normal seminarians are.

Anything Else

Wouldn’t trade doing God’s will for the world.

How can Mundelein's donors and community pray for you?

Fervently and faithfully! Just kidding. But seriously.
