Vocation Story

After a personal encounter with Jesus in Medugorje during the summer before my freshman year of high school, I started to attend daily Mass. My yearning for Jesus grew throughout high school and into college as I lived at the Newman Center at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. It was during my senior year at the Newman Center where I felt a calling to discern a vocation to the priesthood. As I tried to push the call away for 2 years, the desire for intentional discernment only got stronger. With the help of Our Lord and Our Lady, I finally accepted the call to attend seminary in order to further discern the priesthood of Jesus Christ.

How can Mundelein's donors and community pray for you?

Only to personally become a saint at all costs and push me to become one as well!
