Vocation Story

My vocation started when I saw the priest elevate the host and chalice during the consecration at Mass. That moment struck me very profoundly as I witnessed how humble and loving our God is when He chose to stay with us in the form of bread and wine. I also think having a solid prayer life is important, especially spending time with Jesus at holy hour. That is where I felt called to the priesthood in following Jesus.
What inspired me the most about the priesthood are the love of Jesus, the ministry of the priest in bringing God to people through the sacraments, and the joy of serving the parish community.

How can Mundelein's donors and community pray for you?

Please pray that I continue growing in my love for God and saying “yes” to His plan in my life.
