To celebrate being accepted as a seminarian, I went skydiving
"It was just before the Passover Festival. Jesus knew that the hour had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end." John 13:1
I first felt called to the priesthood during my junior year of college at a regular Sunday mass, and the thought of priesthood would not leave my mind until I finaly addressed in prayer. When I finally did, and I asked God what He wanted me to do with my life, He invited me into a much deeper relationship with Him that I had never experienced before. From that moment I knew that I wanted to do whatever I could to give my life to God and I seriously began considering the priesthood. I spent the next year and a half discerning if I should go to seminary, wondering if I was really called or not and God guided me through all the twists and turns. It wasn’t until the end of my senior year, upon hearing John 13:1 read at the Holy Thursday Mass that I made the final decision that I would go to seminary and follow God’s call.
