Vocation Story

I studied advertising in college, and when I was getting ready to start applying for internships I found myself feeling hollow and lost. I had an experience at Mass where God placed the idea of priesthood on my heart, something I had never really seriously given a thought to, and after spending a great deal of time before Our Lord in the tabernacle and entrusting myself to Mary’s care, I decided to see what was there. After about a year and a half of discernment and going back and forth, I accepted the Lord’s invitation to follow Him to seminary.

Priest Aspirations

I look forward to the day when I will be able to bring Christ to the men and women placed in my care through the Eucharist and in the Sacraments of Healing.

What has been your favorite/most memorable story of your time at Mundelein thus far?

During my Spirituality Year, I was fortunate enough to be sent on a poverty immersion in Phoenix with my classmates. Going in, I was full of fear and doubt about how I would make it through with so little and so much unknown to me. The Lord was beyond generous, and the graces I received from that time will be with me for the rest of my life.

How can Mundelein's donors and community pray for you?

Please pray for me and my brothers that we may completely submit ourselves to the Lord’s will to serve Him with all our heart, mind, and strength.
