I can read Aramaic (I couldn't tell you what I am reading, though)
St. Joseph is my patron saint, but probably one of my favorite saints is St. Rafqa
I have a particular affinity for the Divine Mercy and the Stations of the Cross
My vocation story is an unfinished work of the Divine Author…and that is okay! He convinced me to enter the seminary after a cascade of events, experiences, and inspirations. I had the desire to give of myself to something greater than myself since I was very young, but I did not know what that was. It wasn’t until I attended a retreat in high school that I began to fall in love with Christ, the true lover of my soul. In the pursuit of a personal relationship with Him, I contemplated a religious vocation. However, I was stubborn; I demanded complete conviction before I would enter. While maturing in my faith in college, I realized I reached the limits of my discernment outside the seminary and I needed to take a leap of faith.
I am excited to celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation and be a conduit of God’s mercy and forgiveness.
