Vocation Story

My “vocation story” is an unfinished work of the Divine Author…and that is okay! He convinced me to enter the seminary after a cascade of events, experiences, and inspirations. I had the desire to give of myself to something greater than myself since I was very young, but I did not know what that was. While in high school I began to fall in love with Christ, the true lover of my soul, and His Church. In the pursuit of a personal relationship with Him, I contemplated a religious vocation. However, I was stubborn; I demanded absolute conviction before I would enter seminary. I matured in my faith in college and, ultimately, trusted Him to guide me even though I did not have absolute certainty what the future held. He has not failed me yet!
