Vocation Story | I would say that for a majority of my youth I lead a double life, one in which I did all that was expected of me in church and one in which I was willing to do anything to have friends. After the loss of my father when I was five I found myself surrounded by uncertainty which lead down the path of duplicity I was on. In a matter of speaking I was hedging my bets to see which side of me would bring the most happiness. Gradually, I came to see that I was only really able to be myself when I was around those whom I went to church with. This lead me back into a full time relationship with the church that eventually led to me going to Benedictine College which formed me immensely, and eventually led me to enter into discernment in the seminary. |
