Vocation Story

St. John Marie Vianney once said, “The priesthood is the love of the heart of Jesus.” Quite simply, I feel called by the Lord and have a deep desire to love each person that I meet and encounter through the lens of the Sacred Heart. I want to love with Christ’s Heart.

Priest Aspirations

Intimacy with Christ in the Eucharist and being able to be the instrument by which God’s love and mercy are poured out upon the faithful.

What has been your favorite/most memorable story of your time at Mundelein thus far?

Perhaps the biggest surprise and one of the biggest joys that I have found here at Mundelein is the brotherhood of men. I have really enjoyed getting to know the other seminarians here, especially those in my class. It has been incredibly fun going through formation with them. What a blessing they have been for me!

How can Mundelein's donors and community pray for you?

Pray for the fire of charity in our souls, for the increase of humility, for holy docility to the Holy Spirit, and for a trustful, holy daring that will enable us to be great Saints in the hands of Our Lord and Our Lady.
