Vocation Story

Came to fully know God through nature when I was young. Fell in love with the Eucharist through St Ignatius of Antioch’s writings at age 25. And then two pilgrimages to the Holy Land and Rome filled me with the Holy Spirit. This new found fire of the spirit gave me strength to volunteer close to 10 years in Youth Ministry which drew me closer to the Liturgy and Dogma of the Church. The scandal that broke out in the church added fuel to the fire of my calling. I felt God asking me to defend the beauty of the Church and her members as a true authentic father, disciple and MAN of Christ. At the age of 33 my desire to fully embrace my masculinity as a soldier for Christ led me to discern His call and to enter Seminary discernment.

Priest Aspirations

Defending the truth and showing the transcendent beauty of Catholicism in our secular Culture so as to bring people to an experience of Christ. And of course celebrating the Eucharist and Confession.

What has been your favorite/most memorable story of your time at Mundelein thus far?

So many! I guess helping others and the good conversations and fellowship that arise from them.

How can Mundelein's donors and community pray for you?

Pray that I become humble. So that I may truly become a spiritual master and bridge to Christ for the people of God.
