Vocation Story

I grew up in Ecuador. For those who have had the opportunity to visit Ecuador, congratulations! There are many beautiful traditions. I decided to join the Franciscans in Ecuador when I was 18. Although I learned many virtues such as being more self-giving, patient, communicative and cooperative in the Franciscan life, I felt called one more time by God to follow the diocesan life. This new transition brought me here to Chicago. Since August 31, 2014, my experience in the Archdiocese of Chicago has been very meaningful and fruitful in many areas. I have met people from different backgrounds and beliefs. I think each one of us has something to offer to God. Currently, I’m so grateful for many blessings given by God.

Priest Aspirations

I want to serve as a bridge for people who want to have an encounter with God.

What has been your favorite/most memorable story of your time at Mundelein thus far?

I love the shows at Mundelein especially in December, there is a lot of fun and the guys are very crerative and joyful.

Anything Else

God is good all the time

How can Mundelein's donors and community pray for you?

I would appreciate your prayers especially if you commend me to our Lady by praying a Hail Mary.
