Vocation Story | When the Catholic pillar of my family – my Grandma Marge Kasprzak – passed away, I saw how I had not been living the faith with which I was raised. Through her loss, God led me back to the Church and the sacraments: a return to Reconciliation after many years was the next turning point. I became increasingly involved in my parish as a layperson but remained unsettled… God’s call still seemed deeper. When Mass became a virtual celebration during the pandemic, my need for the Eucharist became apparent and, once able, I began attending daily Mass. In daily communion and worship with my parish community, I clearly heard what God was asking of me. I have followed His call with joy ever since! |
