IDS congratulates the 27 men (and their families) formally enrolled as candidates for Holy Orders during a liturgy on 1 October 17, with Bishop Placido Rodriguez, CMF, as celebrant. Held at USML’s Chapel of the Immaculate Conception, these men offered themselves to be of service to the Church before family and friends – and Bishop Rodriguez, on behalf of the Church, accepted this self-offering by publically acknowledging this positive sign in their diaconal vocation journey, which must be confirmed during the next three years of formation.
