IDS congratulates the 7 men (and their families) formally enrolled as candidates for Holy Orders during a liturgy on September 30, with Bishop John Manz, as celebrant. Held at USML’s Chapel of the Immaculate Conception, these men offered themselves to be of service to the Church before family and friends – and Bishop Manz, on behalf of the Church, accepted this self-offering by publicly acknowledging this positive sign in their diaconal vocation journey, which must be confirmed during the next three years of formation.
