In its Templeton Foundation-funded Fall 2017 lecture series, the Christian Graduate Student Alliance at Ohio State gathered scientists and theologians to discuss various aspects of the theme, “What is Love?” in a forthright and irenic way, modeling Christian work and witness in public discourse. Addressing the question of how people can engage those with whom they do not have a natural affinity, salient findings from research in genetics (Dr. Praveen Sethupathy, Cornell University), psychology (Dr. Carrie Bredow, Hope College), and theology (Dr. Lisa Sung, Mundelein Seminary) were explored in a wide-ranging interdisciplinary consideration of the character of love and how love of others is realized.
