Rescheduled for November 11 – Light the Night at Mundelein Seminary

We are pleased to announce a new date for Light the Night

Saturday, November 11, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

 

We were deeply disappointed to have to cancel Light the Night due to the dangerous weather for the evening.  We received requests for a reschedule from registered groups and from our seminarians. Due to the short time frame to reorganize, we have simplified the schedule of events and limited total number of guests to 600.

Prayer candles in Main Chapel

5:30 – 7:00 Rosary, Divine Mercy, Vocations questions, Ask a Seminarian by DIME Statue

5:30 to 7:00 or 6:30 to 8:00 Confessions near Stations of the Cross

6:00  Welcome in Main Chapel + Testimonials

6:45  Talk about Adoration in Main Chapel

7:00  Eucharistic Procession to Belvedere

7:15   Exposition in Belvedere

7:45  Repose of Blessed Sacrament, Eucharistic Procession back to Main Chapel

8:00  Mass in the Main Chapel

9:00  End of evening

An Evening of Prayer, Conversation, and Reflection for Youth Groups 
To all youth groups of the Archdiocese of Chicago and surrounding Chicagoland area, we invite you to join us Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m
– Learn more about Eucharistic Adoration, the Rosary, and Divine Mercy
– Meet youth from beyond your own parish
– Engage and interact with priests, seminarians, and religious
– Experience the beautiful campus of Mundelein Seminary at night
There will be Praise and Worship music, lighting of prayer candles,  prayer, confessions, celebration of Mass and light snacks, water, hot chocolate, and coffee provided.
Participants in Light the Night may be photographed or videotaped for USML promotional purposes, under the permission of the Archdiocese of Chicago photo release forms.
The event is FREE, however attendance is limited to 600 tickets, and pre-registration is required. At least one adult chaperone per 10 youth is required to be in attendance.
