Friday, April 5 was Staff Appreciation Day at the University of St. Mary of the Lake. At a community Mass, Father John Kartje expressed his gratitude for the tireless efforts of the more than 140 staff members on campus who work to offer educational opportunities for laity, clergy, and religious–and keep this nearly 100-year-old institution running smoothly. Each staff member received a specially designed rosary blessed by Father Kartje as a token of appreciation.
