Happy Veterans Day to Seminarians, Faculty, and Alumni

Posted on November 10, 2020

Today we pray for all military veterans and thank them for their commitment in serving our country, putting their lives at risk and sacrificing time with their families. We pray for greater healing and peace to all who have been wounded physically, mentally and spiritually.

From the Army to the Seminary

Seminarian Tim Berryhill of the Archdiocese of Chicago served in the United States Army after college and recounts a harrowing experience he had while learning to skydive that ultimately brought him to the Church. Watch in the video below.

Father Matt Foley ’89 – Parish Priest, Army Chaplain, and Friend of Chris Farley

“For one Chicago-area pastor and former Army Chaplain, resilience and incredible life experiences have helped him navigate a tightly-knit community through an incredibly challenging time.”

Today, let us recognize in a special way all of our seminarians, faculty, staff, and alumni priests for their dedication and service for our country.
