“God Saw that it was Good, and the Scientists Agreed,” by Father John Kartje

Posted on May 31, 2018

In the supposed war between faith and science, no front is more contested than the natural world. But the truth is that from planetary formation, to evolutionary biology, to climate dynamics, hard science has much to offer natural theology – and much to gain from it.

Father John Kartje, Rector/President of the University of Saint Mary of the Lake/Mundelein Seminay, delivered a talk at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum in downtown Chicago titled, “God Saw that it was Good…And the Scientists Agreed: Faith Meets Science in the Natural World.” This lecture sought to highlight the partnership between our faith and the natural world around us.
