“Social media is the new sidewalk preaching. If they’re not coming into your church to listen to you preach, you have to go out to the people.”
That’s why Father Dominic Clemente (Mundelein Seminary Class of 2016) believes his vibrant presence on social media platforms like Instagram and YouTube is so important. By documenting his #priestlife, he is able to provide a window into the vocation, inspire others through his recorded homilies, and express his personality by showcasing his humor and hobbies.
Father Dominic was recently interviewed by CBS Chicago on how he brings the love of God to people through digital evangelization, in addition to his work within St. Edward Catholic Parish, where he will soon begin serving as pastor. Watch the full video below.
