Father John Kartje, Rector of Mundelein Seminary, is pleased to announce the appointment of Father Brian Welter as Vice Rector of Formation.
Father Welter had been serving as Dean of Formation for Mundelein. He is a graduate of Bradley University and University of Saint Mary of the Lake/Mundelein Seminary and was ordained for the Archdiocese of Chicago in 2005. He is the former Associate Pastor St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, Orland Hills, IL, and former Vocations Director for the Archdiocese of Chicago. Father Welter also serves as an adjunct faculty member with the Institute for Priestly Formation in Omaha.
