He has a wealth of experience in teaching\, research\, and forming leaders for the Church’s apostolic mission. Dr. Horell has fostered dialogue and collaboration within academic and church communities throughout his professional career. Before joining the USML community\, he served for twenty-one years as a member of the Fordham University Graduate School of Religion and Religious Education faculty. His primary vocation is as a husband\, father\, and grandfather.

Mila Díaz\, OP\n \nEl retiro titulado “Líderes Catequéticos\, discípulos y misioneros del Resucitado en medio de la oscuridad\, adversidad y muerte” propone un camino de reflexión\, renovación y compromiso para los Lideres catequeticos\, inspirado en diversos pasajes del Evangelio de Juan (Jn 3\,1-21; 7\,45-52; 19\,38-42). \nA lo largo de tres momentos\, el taller invita a los participantes a profundizar en su identidad como discípulos y misioneros\, reconociendo que su vocación se vive en medio de realidades marcadas por la incertidumbre\, los desafíos y la esperanza en Cristo resucitado. \nEste retiro\, en su conjunto\, es una invitación a redescubrir la misión catequética como un testimonio vivo de fe\, capaz de iluminar las realidades de oscuridad con la luz del Resucitado. \nHna. Mila Díaz Solano\, OP\, pertenece a la congregación de las Hermanas Dominicas de Springfield\, Illinois. Actualmente es Miembro del Consejo General de su Congregación. Además de ello acompaña dando cursos y retiros en línea a religiosas y laicos. \nElla ha terminado sus estudios de doctorado en Sagradas Escrituras en la Escuela Bíblica de Jerusalén\, tiene una Licenciatura en Biblia del Studium Biblicum Francescanum de Jerusalén y una Maestría en Teología de la Universidad Católica de Chicago. Ha enseñado Sagradas Escrituras en el Seminario de Mundelein y el de Lima\, Perú entre los años 2018-2019.
