Light the Night provides an opportunity to come together in prayer and reflection on the beautiful campus of University of Saint Mary of the Lake/Mundelein Seminary. The evening is organized and hosted by seminarians, who will be present to lead the Rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet, answer questions about the Seminary, and for conversation about the Catholic faith. Priests will be present for Eucharistic Exposition, for confessions, and for celebration of Mass. The event also allows attendees to meet other youth from around the Archdiocese of Chicago, showing that the Catholic Church extends beyond their local Parish. This is a rare outdoor, public event on campus and many of the evening’s events will be held outdoors (weather permitting). The event is free, however attendance is limited to 1,000 tickets, and pre-registration is required.
