Rector’s Classic Golf Outing – Sold Out
Due to popular demand, the 2023 Rector’s Classic (golf and dinner) has reached capacity and is SOLD OUT. We are still accepting sponsorships and bids for the silent auction.
News this Month
August 28-September 1 – We welcomed the Licentiate in Sacred Theology students to campus for an intensive week. Several students are taking courses on-line so it was nice to have most of the students on campus to meet each other and have a week of camaraderie.
Monday, September 4 – LABOR DAY – University Offices will be closed – classes will be in session.
September 14 – Rector’s Classic will be taking place at Pine Meadow Golf Course in Mundelein. This year we are honoring Rev. Wayne Watts and his contributions to the Archdiocese of Chicago.
September 15-17 – Family Weekend – A reminder for seminarians that Family Weekend is happening soon, please make sure you email your reservations forms to Michelle Pabon (Formation Office)

Prayer to Discern a Vocation
Lord, my God and my loving Father, you have made me to know you, to love you, to serve you, and thereby to find and to fulfill my deepest longings. I know that you are in all things, and that every path can lead me to you.
But of them all, there is one especially by which you want me to come to you. Since I will do what you want of me, I pray you, send your Holy Spirit to me: into my mind, to show me what you want of me; into my heart, to give me the determination to do it, and to do it with all my love, with all my mind, and with all of my strength right to the end. Jesus, I trust in you. Amen (USCCB)
