Join our rector Fr. John Kartje in praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet today.
Thank you for praying with us during these past nine days with our #MundAlum priests. May God’s peace and love be with you and your loved ones on Divine Mercy Sunday.
See below for the video and how to recite the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.
How to Recite the Chaplet
(on ordinary Rosary beads)
Make the Sign of the Cross
- The Our Father
- The Hail Mary
- The Apostles’ Creed
On the large bead before each decade:
Eternal Father,
I offer You
the Body and Blood,
Soul and Divinity,
of Your dearly beloved Son,
Our Lord Jesus Christ,
in atonement for our sins
and those of the whole world.
On the 10 small beads of each decade:
For the sake of His sorrowful Passion,
have mercy on us and on the whole world.
Concluding Doxology: (after five decades)
Holy God,
Holy Mighty One,
Holy Immortal One,
have mercy on us and on the whole world.
(three times)
Optional Concluding Prayer:
Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself.
