We at Mundelein believe that each seminary is to be the heart of the diocese it serves, and as such is how we see our relationship with and to the dioceses we serve. We are building bonds among each other to sustain our life in Christ.
Your contribution to the Cor ad Cor Fund, meaning “heart to heart,” helps us to raise consciousness about Mundelein’s place in promoting, strengthening, and guiding the Catholic Church in the greater Chicago area. Through a significant outreach campaign ($25,000) and community events hosted both at Mundelein and at parishes throughout the diocese ($2,500 each), we seek to help the people of our communities near and far understand us, our mission, and how we strive to transform the lives of others through service as Christ’s missionary disciples.
Our appeal for Cor ad Cor will help us foster a genuine Catholic community in our area that is conscious of its solidarity in Christ with the entire Church of Chicago and the Universal Church. Through these initiatives, we seek to make known the presence of the Church and Christ’s mercy in the midst of our neighborhood.
