This year, we are celebrating 100 years of building bridges to Christ through the formation of your parish priests.
Our celebration began with a kickoff event and a beautiful Mass on October 17, concelebrated by Cardinal Wilton Gregory ’73 of the Archdiocese of Washington and Cardinal Blase Cupich of the Archdiocese of Chicago.
Although travel issues prevented Archbishop Christophe Pierre, apostolic nuncio to the United States, from attending, Cardinal Blase Cupich was able to deliver a letter from Pope Francis offering his prayers and apostolic blessing upon Mundelein Seminary on the occasion of its centennial.

Immediately following the Mass, everyone gathered on the lawn for a delicious brunch. Festivities continued into the afternoon with tours, lectures, a vocations panel discussion, Eucharistic adoration and more.
Even if you were unable to attend the kickoff, there will be more opportunities to celebrate this special year with us. For additional information about the Mundelein Seminary Centennial Celebration visit: www.mundelein100.org
