We are glad that you can join us for the Ordination of Deacons on August 12, 2020. In order to comply with guidelines of the State of Illinois and the Archdiocese of Chicago, we are asking each person attending the ordination to please wear a face mask or face covering for the entirety of the celebration. Please also know that ushers will help you to sanitize your hands as you enter church and as you prepare to come forward to receive Holy Communion. Finally, we ask that if you are feeling ill or running a fever on the day of the ordination, that you please not attend out of an abundance of caution.
All guests should please enter the seminary campus from Route 45 on the West side of the seminary. You will be directed to park in the Purple Lot. A campus map can be found here.
For persons with disabilities, please know that reserved parking is located in the Purple Lot in the area closest to the Chapel. There is accessible entrance to the Chapel from that point, including a ramp. All other guests are asked to enter through the main (east) doors of the Chapel.
Restrooms are located in the Welcome Center (“B” on the campus map) right next the Purple Lot before you arrive at the Chapel. We ask that you please plan to use the restrooms before Mass begins, as the Chapel is only equipped with a restroom for those with mobility needs.
In order to maintain social distancing during the ordination Mass and to accommodate the maximum number of allowed persons safely, all seats will be assigned in advance, by household. You will receive a ticket with your seating information by email a few days before ordination. Please print this out and bring it with you to Mass. An usher will help to seat you.
