Celebration of Mundelein

This year’s event will honor Very Reverend Esequiel Sanchez with the As Those Who Serve Award in recognition of their ministry to build bridges between Christ and His people at The Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

Rerum Novarum

The evening provides the seminary with an opportunity to identify Catholic men and women in their fields, who by their example and work have promoted the social teachings of the Church. Seminary Salutes is the main fundraiser of the year for St. Joseph College Seminary. Those honored receive the prestigious Rerum Novarum Award from the Archbishop of Chicago at the Seminary Salutes dinner and award ceremony.

Sounds of the Season Christmas Concert
December 3, 2023
Our annual Mundelein Seminary Christmas Concert will intertwine sacred scripture, favorite carols, and sacred music from diverse periods of time and cultures. Held in the beautiful chapel of the Immaculate Conception, you will have the opportunity to experience dual pipe organs, a brass quartet, strings, and the voices of the Mundelein Seminary choirs directed by Linda Cerabona, united together in praise. We hope that you will be able to join us as we meditate on the birth of our Lord. May the fellowship we nurture as we sit beside one another be a heart-felt witness to the love of God.
The concert will run approximately 60-90 minutes with no intermission.
