March for Life 2015

by on February 7, 2015

Each year on the anniversary of the Supreme Court’sRoe v. Wade decision people gather in Washington, D.C. for the March for Life. Thanks to our friends and benefactors thirty two seminarians and two faculty members attended the March. The night before the March a Vigil Mass was held at the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. Cardinal Sean O’Malley, Archbishop of Boston, was the principal celebrant and homilist. As Christians we believe that every life from conception to death is a gift of God, and every person is made in the image and likeness of God. It is the duty of the strong to protect the weak. The purpose of the March is to call the rulers to recognize this truth to form a civilization of love.
