Meyer Lecture Series Starts Marth 27th!

On Thursday, March 27th and Friday, March 28th Mundelein Seminary will welcome Most Reverend Arthur Roche, Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments, to the 2014 Albert Cardinal Meyer Lecture Series. Archbishop Roche will give two lectures: Actuosa Participatio: Notes towards an understanding of active participation in the Sacred Liturgy, and Prayer as Teacher: Actuosa Participatio as understood in the great texts of the Church’s Liturgy.

Father Douglas Martis, Director of the Liturgical Institute and Assistant Professor, and Fr. Ronald Kunkel, Director of Liturgy and Assistant Professor, will respond to the lectures.

The lectures will take place in the Cardinal Mundelein Auditorium at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday evening and 9:00 a.m. on Friday morning. Faculty, staff and all graduate students are welcome to attend. The lecture series is part of seminarian formation. We are delighted to have Archbishop Roche with us for this lecture series.
